'Flame of Bengal' Clover Initial Necklace

$6,950 USD

Burn bright with leaves of rejuvenation.

In West Bengal, this tree - sometimes referred to as ‘flame of the forest’ - is closely associated with spring. Particularly immortalized in the poems of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, who likened its bright orange flowers to flames, it is said that this tree is also a form of Agni - or god of fire. By bringing together the elements of seasonal rebirth and burning poetry in this pendant, the pattern fuels empowerment and eternal growth over adversity for those who wear it. Discover your natural flame, allowing yourself to create - and rejuvenate.

These reversible pendants are modern heirlooms made with traditional artistry, drawing inspiration from ancient islamic motifs, but displaying contemporary elegance and style.

Although each Roya pendant is unique, they all share the same symbolism. The traditional flower-motifs in enamel, based on the ancient indo-islamic symbols representing the fullness of life, celebrate the abundance of the natural world, and the vast potential waiting to be awakened within you.

Pendant in 23K gold with 24k gold kundan setting, rose cut diamonds, and vitreous enamel.
