'Midnight Veil' Gulflower Necklace

The pendant is entirely handmade: forged from pure 22K gold, intricately engraved by hand, then inlaid with powdered glass enamel (meenakari) and fired in a high-heat kiln - a process that fuses the colors permanently to the gold. 

Reversible and richly detailed on every side, including its edges, Roya pendants are modern heirlooms made with traditional artistry, drawing inspiration from ancient islamic motifs, but displaying contemporary elegance and style. The traditional flower-motifs in enamel, based on the ancient indo-islamic symbols representing the fullness of life, celebrate the abundance of the natural world, and the vastness of potential waiting to be awakened within you.

The shape of the pendant the Gulflower is a stylised bloom found in Indo-Persian art. In this modern interpretation, the shape is a vessel of joy, sensuality, and celebration.
